Hoxton Farms, the London-based biotech developing cultivated animal fat, appointed MFive to advise and support the construction of their pilot facility in Central London, providing specialist cell culture laboratories, a food development kitchen, office space and collaborative spaces for staff, clients and partners to meet, work and innovate.
We assisted Hoxton Farms with their property search, ultimately selecting Hylo to house their revolutionary city-based laboratory, before working closely with their team to develop a robust brief and tender process reviewing bids in detail to ensure both technical capability and cost certainty.
We further supported the client team with the pre-contract, architectural and technical design stages advising on the complex issues arising from the city location, landlord and engineering requirements, working closely with contractor, landlord and specialist consultants to complete a ground-breaking facility for Hoxton Farms.
This exceptional project won ‘Design & Build Project of the Year’ at the Mix Awards 2024.

We have acquired 16,000 square feet of Category A office space here and recently completed the first phase on the second floor, with the 3rd floor fit out completed in early 2022. We are very happy with the service provide by MFive, the project has been delivered on time, on budget and to a very high standard of design and finish.
MFive have subsequently been retained by GXO to manage the complete refurbishment of our UK head office in Northampton which is a 26,000 square feet standalone building. This is a complex project due to the business operation of over 200 employees already being in occupation.
